Lovely, pretty hotel in centre of town. Great staff, properly dog friendly without making a fuss about it .Good breakfast. Brilliant stopping off point between UK and Spain. We've been using it for years This year is the first time with a pup and the hotel is close to the river and it's waterside walks. Super aircon which was needed recently.

Clair is a wonderful host and attentive from the moment we arrived caring for us and enjoying seeing we were well looked after. We were also delighted with a great selection of saucisson, pate and wines. The house is easy to get to, very near the airport and Clair even dropped us off in Bergerac when we had to leave. Wonderful.

Central location …overnight stay enroute to Calais. Refurbed room,compact ,well thought out. New en-suite. Lovely bed linen. Needed on site parking due to a loaded vehicle & had two small dogs in tow…so worked out perfectly.

We treated ourselves to a suite which was great for a two night stay so we could properly chill in the room. Room was great and super clean with a very large bathroom. It only had a bath which was a struggle for us but the property advised us when we booked so we were aware. Breakfast was OK. Hotel is directly in town with secure parking.

Quiet, sensitively modernised traditional hotel with excellent soundproofing and lighting and lots of hanging and shelf and table space. Comfortable bed. Ok breakfast but only wheat flakes, no muesli. Lots of sweet cakes, but very little fruit .

Room was fine, location excellent. Nice view of roofs from window. Fridge in room. Good toiletries. Really hot water. Garage really convenient and very necessary. Bang in the middle of the quaint (touristy) old town with all its quality shops and bars. A really good buzzing local vibe.

The room was comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect, and the private parking well organized. Intructions are clear and we had a lovely stay.

Great location, right in the centre of Saintes. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and the bed was very comfortable. Garage parking was very convenient. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very nice hotel in the middle of town, very convenient, parking available, they even accommodated our too high van in another garage of the hotel, beds were very comfortable, room a decent size, breakfast buffet was very good.

Spotless, new , so central and lots of local on road parking for the van that wouldn't as expected fit in the car park. Didn't have breakfast. Walkable to everything. Amazing value for money. Little fridge very useful, kettle for us anglais .
